Video: NYPD Looking For Bronx Shooting Suspects

The New York City Police Department is asking the public’s assistance identifying the suspects wanted for a shooting within the confines of the 41 Precinct. Details are as follows:

On Monday, September 23, 2013 at 9:05PM the victims, a M/H/18 and a M/H/17, were in the lobby of 686 Beck Street when the suspect walked in shot them both in the lower back and then fled the building. The victim were brought to Lincoln Hospital where they are listed in stable condition.

In the attached surveillance video, the two suspects are observed walking to the location. The suspect in the hat is the male who shot the victims. The male in the hooded sweatshirt pointed the building out to the shooting suspect.

Brooklyn: NYPD Looking For Murder Suspect

On Tuesday, October 1,2013 at approximately 11:30AM, police officers responded to a 911 call for a female shot in the courtyard of 470 Dekalb Avenue, within the confines of the 79 Precinct (PSA3). Upon arrival, officers discovered a female black 24 years of age with a gunshot wound to the chest. EMS responded and transported the victim to Brooklyn Hospital where she was pronounced DOA.

Brooklyn, NY

Suspect wanted by NYPD:
Brown, Corey
M/B/21

The suspect is 5’10” tall and weighs 180 pounds.

Construction Accident At World Trade Center

FDNY is operating at 3 World Trade Center for a report of a construction worker that fell into a pit. The worker is out of the pit at this time, and being transported to a local hospital. The extent of the injuries are unknown.

NYPD ‘Mounted Unit’ Graduation

Police Commissioner Raymond W. Kelly today inducted five police officers and one detective as the newest members of the NYPD Mounted Unit.

“Our mounted officers are known for being able turn a half-ton horse on a dime through traffic, pursue fleeing perpetrators and quickly cover an enormous amount of territory, serving as invaluable crime-deterrents and ambassadors of the Department,” Police Commissioner Kelly said.

The officers train for three months in horsemanship, intensive riding, grooming, cleaning, and conducting medical care.

Mounted officers are assigned throughout the city. They are critical assets at demonstrations, parades and at other major events such as the New Year’s Eve ball drop celebration in Times Square.

Metro-North Railroad Service Update For 10/2/13

Metro-North will operate additional trains on the New Haven Line starting Wednesday, October 2, due to an increase in power capacity to Con Edison’s temporary substations. With this new schedule in place, Metro-North’s capacity on the line rises to 65% of regular train service. See specific schedules, and service details. The interim limited solution provided by the temporary substations still does not provide full power capacity, and as a result, Metro-North still cannot operate full train service.

The New York City Police Department is asking the public’s assistance identifying a suspect wanted for grand larceny, in transit, within the confines of the 78 Precinct. Details are as follows:

On Monday, September 17, 2013 at 1:20PM, the victim, a F/42, was riding on the northbound “B” train when the suspect, who was sitting across from her on the train, stood up as the train reached the Flatbush Avenue station, grabbed her Samsung Galaxy cell phone and fled the train. There were no reported injuries.

Brooklyn: Pedestrian Struck On Clymer St

A person riding on a bicycle was struck by a vehicle on Bedford Avenue and Clymer Street, Tuesday evening. EMS was treating the victim, who has non-life threatening injuries. NYPD was looking for the vehicle which fled the scene.
